Williams Homes: Ready to Assist With Rebuilding Efforts for Ventura Residents

Santa Clarita, CA – Williams Homes, Inc. a leading, privately-held homebuilder and developer, is offering their services and resources to survivors who have lost their homes in the wake of the Thomas fire. On December 8, Williams Homes’ president and CEO, Lance Williams, moved to action by announcing his company’s “Rebuild Ventura” program in an emotional video that was launched on the company’s website. Williams said the program is a way for his firm to make a real difference for individuals and the community at large. “I cannot stop watching the news. Seeing so many homes lost to the fire in our community is so disheartening. I am restless to take action,” he said. Since the video launched, the company is moving forward with rebuilding efforts for homeowners in the Williams Homes community of La Barranca in Ventura, in which four homes succumbed to the fire. "Our goal is to serve the residents of Ventura, who have lost so much, and help them get back on track to start rebuilding their lives as quickly as possible," Williams said. "We are offering our assistance and providing accurate information about how to begin the rebuilding process, as there are numerous facts to learn and major decisions to be made." Williams Homes has developed a hands-on, strategic plan and program to get residents back into their new homes in a timely manner, which will be the company’s largest such undertaking in a disaster area. "Given our company’s current position as the largest producer of new housing in Ventura, we already have key resources in place that are ready to begin work,” added Williams. “These include help with insurance, architects, planning, permits, sub-contractors, designers and landscapers. I am confident we can make this experience a positive one for those looking to rebuild." Residents who would like additional information will be personally contacted by community outreach ambassador, Jane Rieder, for Williams’ “Rebuild Ventura” program. Rieder will review key areas of concern including: what residents should look for in a homebuilder and which important questions to ask, learn about what the Williams’ team is prepared to accomplish for homeowners in Ventura, and how fire survivors can prepare to rebuild the home they lost, and what they would like to rebuild. Information about “Rebuild Ventura” is available on the company’s website at WilliamsHomes.com/RebuildVentura or by phoning Jane Rieder at 800.206.9514. ***** ABOUT WILLIAMS HOMES, INC.
